Stocks start the week on a cautious note

Stocks have opened on a cautious note today following last week’s strong bounce-back as investors bought the previous week’s dip. The US market had it’s best week in months with the technology sector leading once again.

Investors are currently having to weigh a number of factors, not least the Fed’s reiteration that rising inflation pressures are transitory, the potential for continuing global economic recovery and the rapid spread of the new coronavirus variant across the world..
